I really want my addiction to be tanning but its an expensive one. lol. So im trying to find another addiction. I was thinking of a computer game but the only game I can think of that would interest me is SIMS and im not sure i could get too addicted to it.
Anyone have any suggestions? Ive already got some physical activities such as the gym and im part of a kickball team so i dont need anything more physical. Just some relaxing stuff to do around the home. Thanks -------------------- Cruisin down the street in my Infiniti...always lookin for my next trip to Sin City

Ok lets establish some guidelines here.
#1 Understanding of what addiction is varies person to person. Example: you watch friends since 1999 every day both episodes on wb channel, you also watch seinfield every day and finally you also watch csi every day. thats like 5 hours of tv right then and there.. even if its playing in background you just cant live without it.. try completely turning off your tv and see what happens after a day. Example: being a coffee addict for 15 years I can not start my day without coffee, if i skip it all hell breaks loose and you better not catch me 6 am-11am. by 11 i can walk it off but you get the point. Some people do not drink coffee at all. Example: My neighbour is addicted to jesus christ. he is a mormon and is a elder something something. he breathes jesus 24/7 and does not do anything outside of jesus.. even in his bathroom there are jesus things.. geeez.. Example: My old college buddy likes to read. You can not pry him away from reading even with a crowbar. Example: Yaroslav (Yuri) plays warcraft 60 hours per week. 5 hours on weekdays and rest on weekends. but he also scuba dives, attends car shows, works full time, goes hiking etc. If you are not somehow involved/associated within the "niche" of whatever it is.. whether its croacheing or plane building or gardening or playing video games it is really hard to understand why a person would play so much/do so much/work so much. If you do not do it yourself anything else is like what the? I am a healthy individual, im a happy individual, i am a motivated individual and when I spend 60 hours per week raiding the heck out of the eye and ssc day after day after day and then playing all my alts in between grinding for more gold.. maybe there is a reason.. maybe the all too casual thing of going to bars, clubs, malls, movie theatres is no longer my thing because i been there done that and in all likelyhood I am not going back to that lifestyle any time soon. Playing wow 60 hours per week lets me spend the time contemplating about life and how wonderful it is that I am finally single and have a wonderful job and live in sunny florida and that I am the happiest i been in past 24 years. My personal life/lifestyle is marginally better because i picked up hobbies I never did before such as scuba diving on a weekly basis or hiking or catching lobsters or getting myself a ginormous hdtv so i dont have to drag myself to a movie theatre and have people talking outloud or having my buddy telling me his lifestory and or narrating the film. What does it take to play wow 60 hours per week? -no girlfriend/having your lady play too -playing every day and raiding (for those who dont know.. its basically taking your team and killing hard things you normally would not) -developing lifestyle that fits the game rather than backwards. I am a night owl and playing wow till 2 am is a great way to spend your evening when you are not attending to other things in life. -sacrificing personal time (sometimes) to accomodate your raiding schedule. -developing/learning to develop your "other" inter-social abilities. Remember when your mom told you to get off the internet? By show of hands how many people here had the following happen to you: You speak to people daily though wow chat interface, ventrillo/teamspeak, share life stories/photos, meet like 39 other people and all 39 other people living in all corners of the globe going somewhere (never seeing each other before) and having one hell of a vacation? I went to about 5 of my guild get together events. So far we went to 9 countries in south america/going to 9th during thanksgiving, went to 3 countries of african continent, went to new zealand and australia, went to korea/singapour and this upcoming year going to france/spain/italy road tour. I think addiction is in the eye of the beholder cause i you ask me I would rather spend 60 hours with my "other family/friends" rather than with people who are close in real life to me. They dont randomly come over and occupy your house just because, they dont abuse priveleges of using your car/pool like it was their property, they are easily muted by not coming to play wow or not responging to private tells.. on contrary my buddies never stfu.. call me in middle of the day just to say... uhhh whats up dude knowing that im at work... or coming over just because i have a huge tv and not really caring as to whether i want to watch their crap in my own damn house. Anyways ill get back to wow now cause im typing this in between killing things. Hope this covered/explained some questions -------------------- Captain Pessimist
