Hey guys, I've got a 97 gt (no mods), and the clutch is on its way out. Can anyone give me any recommendations on what kind I should replace it with? (aside from the oem clutch)
Thanks in advance |

Well, i think i have clutch prob too. It starts to smell and skip/ I just saw
http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=34164 video. Nice. But it does not say how to take it out. I read http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...48601&st=20 and boy it makesme think twice ( 9 - 10 Hours) http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=51002&hl= 600 bucks to get it repaired!!! http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...36865&st=80 not really a step by step. so ive researched, came to the conclusion. I will do it myself. when, soon. i guess. 1. take out little parts. 2. Disassemble the axles 3. Drop the tranny. (the engine too??? ) 4. put it in. 5. Finish. Is this basically it? I guess. Please correct my steps. I could not find steps by steps specs. LIke torque for the flywheel, torque for the clutch plate, does anything else need torque? I can get this tomorrow : http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail....244&PTSet=A or order and wait for this: http://www.importrp.com/product.php?produc...at=0&page=1 anybody knows about this perfection brand?
