or know anyone who is selling theirs? and from my understanding it dosent really add much HP or torque...? but i hear it sounds VERY nice i tried to make my own SRI but...it keeps falling apart...so im sick of putting it back together all the time, and id like to jsut get something nice, like the injen one. so any sites you guys kno of..or anyone you know who is selling, would be very usefull!! that was actually the first aftermarket part I put on mine. Assuming you're going from an OEM air box intake with regular air filter, I actually gained a noticeable amount of low end torque and some mid range pwr in my 5sfe. Since it's a cone shape as opposed to a flat rectangular filter (OEM Box) it has a much higher rate of airflow (slightly leaning your a/f ratio and allowing the engine to "breathe" better). It does however add some suction sound to your engine compartment, some of which is heard in the cabin. If you dont mind more engine noise, it's a great upgrade for your engine; if you prefer a quieter engine, you can get a high flow filter for your OEM intake box which is the same size as the filter that's in there now but it is constructed of a more breathable material while still filtering out all of the air pollution particles that the stock filter does if not more; the advantage of a high flow box filter is its ability to increase airflow while keeping the same quiet intake flow of the stock intake. The cone filter and short ram intake allow a far more direct and higher flow of intake air whereas the high flow box filter increases flow (though not as much as the short ram intake) without adding intake noise. Hope this helps. java script:emoticon(':D', 'smid_4')
