I have a 97 Celica ST202. I was wondering what would be the cheapest way to add some horsepower to my car. I had in mind a CAI and an Exhaust System. Injen had a CAI for $220. Is there better ones than that?

Thanks

hey mate, cheapest way of adding some horsepower..?

first get n ecotek cb-26p..then stick on an exhaust muffler or if u wana stretch to it..a cat-back exhaust..then get urself an induction kit..preferably K&N since they r cheap but have good gains..u can always alter these mods in the future wen u wana spend big money..replace ur plugs..de-coke ur engine with something like see-foam or powerboost foam which we get here in the UK..everybody has been dissing these turbonator, vortex thingies but i have proof they work..get one turbonator..its bull**** about getting more than one in ur intack as it just starts to restrict airflow..but if u get one n stick it in ur throttle body just before the butterfly..its works fine..the some sort of power cap..like a voltage stabiliser..it stores battery power n everytime u kick ur car it uses the energy stored n directly from ur battery..so u get a little boost in torque n hp..n thats pretty much it..

some people will probably think i'm chattin **** about the turbonators n powercaps..but i have all this in my car including n electric supercharger..phase 2 ignition control module and a chip..n my car has been dyno'd at 231bhp..no thats sayin alot since i have only spent max 600 quid on the mods..thats about 320 US Dollars..
