stinking & light vibration Options

alright. Today i went to attend an event at Centerville here in Arkansas. It was called "Import Shootout" or something like that. Although that was what it was called, only 1/3 of the number of cars where imports. LOL. The other 2/3 consisted of Dodge's, Ford's, and Chevy's. But yes...back to what I was going to say. I was kinda planning on making a quick run. But on the way there with all the curves and turns my celi started actin' funny. The check engine light came on.....my front left wheel started stinking like burning rubber....and the car would kinda vibrate(or maybe have been slightly wobbling) whenever I stepped on the brakes! It didn't vibrate that bad but then I could feel it under my feet a little and through the steering wheel. The brakes and the d/s rotors are new, I just put them in recently. My tires weren't burning though too! Does anyone have any idea as to what might have happened?
