I just installed some JDM tails that I purchased on the B/S forum... I went to check my brakes and they wouldn't come on, so I checked the bulbs first... they're fine. I switched whatever harness it came with to my own to see if it was the wiring on the harnesses from the lights... Still no brakes, so I look for a burned fuse with the old harnesses still plugged up. Fuse 15a for "Stop" under the dimmer was burned. So I put in a fresh one and stepped on the brakes with the old harnesses plugged up. No brake lights...
I'm almost starting to think I've been driving without brake lights for a few days and I probably just haven't noticed. What do you guys think? I don't really want to drive around without a brake light... so I want to get this fixed in the morning... ahhh the sweet smell of urgency... can you smell it? maybe the fuse that was in there isnt a high enough amperage fuse. I plugged my JDM harness in and it works perfectly fine. No issues what so ever.
