1994 Ceilca GT
MT 158000 (aprox, its a DD) New half-shafts, just changed tranny fluid Recent body work on rear quater panels (was backed into twice over the summer) cosmentic damage done to front Crack in the sunroof, but no leaks. Was like that when I got it. Mods: Injen air filter, no/name straight through muffler (NOT a fart can, sounds pretty deep, not much louder than stock), ngk iridium plugs, Front component speakers (brand unknown, but they are pretty clear), rear pioneers, Kenwood cd player with jacks for ipod kit, 15% window tint all the way around (cept for the windseild of course, but it does have a good part of the upper part done for a visor effect) I have used this car for my dd driver for a year, and it has treated me well. I did the halfshafts last year, and they work fine but the abs did not work properly after that. The sprocket that fits on the end of the shaft was a mm off and did not go all the way into the wheelspeed sensor. I pulled the abs relay to avoid problems with the abs kicking on on dry pavement. Even though the breaks squeak a bit in the back, they stop fine. Just put new BFG traction TA's on. Decent for crappy Ohio weather. I have changed the oil with full synthetic every three thou on the dot. I will proably do a few other maintainence things before letting my bab Make me an offer! -Ron Z. QUOTE(block @ Oct 12, 2007 - 12:40 PM) any rust issues? by replace, do you mean the whole quarter panel was replaced with a new one or just popped out the dents? The only rust on the car is in that pic above and in the typical toyota spots. On the bottom inside of the doors. I've seen those spots on just about every mid 90's toyotas I've come across. Did I say replace? The fenders were not replaced, but the damage was not that significant enough to justify that. I'm not sure what Troxel's body did, But the one side that happened this past spring cost me 700 out of pocket. The driver's side was even smaller than the first, and I was only billed (VDub Guy's insurance paid for it) 400 for repaint. The blend was done really well, but you can tell when you compare the bumper. The car has some paint fade one it, but AFAIK thats normal for a 13 year old car. |
