Well.. i bought my celica two julys ago and pretty much ever since i bought it, things have been going wrong with it. Up to date now, I've spent about $3500 to keep my car alive and drivable. Wednesday night, i was driving home around 9 PM, my car started to bogg down and idled low and didn't have much acceleration at all. My check engine light also came on and was flashing. By then, i pulled over and called my dad. My car is in the shop now and I'm sorry to say that i will be getting rid of the car if repairs are more than $300. Ive spent too much money on this car to fix it up and it never treats me right. Don't get me wrong, i love the car but i just can't afford to be putting all of this money into it while going to college. I'm just hoping that repairs aren't too expensive this time and I'll consider keeping it. Thanks for letting me rant, This has been on my mind all week and i needed to come out.

im sorry... a celica is like 8k tops for a REALLY nice one... and evo or 350 is like 20k for a bottom end one... if i were you id keep the celica and and try n do some research on it. not to mention your insurance is gonna jump way up switching to either one of those cars and the gas mileage is also gonna go down.

Hah! find me a 350Z for 10K and I'll buy it in a heartbeat. you might be able to find one with some miles on it and a dented quarter panel or something for like 15K if you're lucky... -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |

I don't know about where you live. I would also like an SRT-4 too but there are kinda low in supply around me... don't really see many here. -------------------- |
