if its down will it still produce power?

will what produce power?? the antenna control runs from the headunit to a relay at the antenna, when there's current, the antenna goes up, when current is removed, the antenna motor reverses direction, the motor receives power but doesn't complete a circuit til the.... wait i'm running this through my head now...it might get power to go up from the head unit...but i doubt it... hmmm ... how about just put a switch on the ground, that'll solve it no matter what

ur right on the spot. When the you switch to radio the HU sends 12v to the trigger wire and the antenna goes up...when switched to a different mode 12v is removed and the antenna goes back down. As I said above if you wanna stop the antenna halfway (or anywhere else ftm) wire a switch across one of the supplying wires...
