Not sure how you're calculating your exchange rate, but if you check www.xe.com they're quoting $2.04/ £1. This is the interbank rate(I used to be a currency broker)  if you allow 7% margin, you should be looking at a 'tourist' rate of about $2.18 making them closer to $147.Of course they're still expensive, hand made to this quality, they always will be. Wierd huh? and the materials I use are imported from the U.S If was manufacturing over there, I'd probably be charging my £'s prices in $'s........but I'm not.
