alright guys we're going to try this again... be aware that i am at school for mechanical engineering so i am extremely busy but since i've gotten quite a few PM's about my closed thread... i decided to start it up again.... so here we go....
PLEASE DO NOT PM ME.... my PM box is just about full with all important messages i have to keep... so please do not PM me.... heres how its going to work.... i'm going to start a list with username and color choice... i will be doing one user at a time... add your name to the list via reply... when its your turn on the list... i will PM you confirming your "order"... current color choices include red, blue, green, yellow, pink? (have to double check this one), and any combination of the above... if you want to try another color just let me know... indicator buttons and background colors can be different or the same color, also there's an option for the color changing knob.... just some quick info: every LED is hand soldered into place, there is an option for the color changing temp knob... going from blue in the cold to red in the hot area... both options use approximately 30 LED's, unit is 100% plug and play on return shipping - currently i have extra AC units here therefore on order, i will begin to make the unit, at completion: i will take pics and send to buyer, payment is then due with approval of unit, you then have the option of sending me your unit and on arrival, i will immediately ship you your completed unit OR for a LARGE deposit, i will ship you your custom unit first in which you can ship me yours when you receive, once i get yours, i will return the deposit... price - non-color changing knob LED's is a $40 charge including labor and parts, color changing knob is a $70 charge including labor and parts, prices DO NOT include shipping, every unit is guaranteed to work on arrival and will work with buyer if they have any problems at all, also be aware that half the LED's need resistors or custom work and custom wiring to get them to work properly in the unit, hence the high price my time is about 8 work hours per unit, deposit is $100 if custom unit is sent first, returned on receiving unit: i will be doing one unit at a time... so please be patient with me, it takes approx 1 week to complete note: color choices for non-color changing knob: i can keep it the original colors with a color of your choice in the actual knob itself, or i can do all blue.... i cannot do all red because the red will not shine through the blue in the cold region i will be updating the post with pics, you can look for the old post if needing to see pics now, look near the end of the post List: username / color / color change / deposit option (Y/N): 1. goferris / blue / N / ? 2. 94celiGTS / ? / ? / ? 3. celica power / blue-bg red-indicator / Y / ? 4. 6strngs / blue / Y / N 5. peterkos / blue / y / y 6.? dagreat1 / blue / y / ? supradog1 and shocker i have not forgot about you.... PM me This post has been edited by pittfirefighter: Nov 1, 2007 - 9:41 AM -------------------- Breaking Axles...

I want one! The video of the color changing didn't work for me and I don't quite understand what it is. I'm going to try to make sure I have the latest version of quicktime and then I'll try it again. until then I can't give an answer on the color change option
6strngs / blue / ? / N Edit, ok, I got the video to work. But I want to know, if I don't get the color change option then can the color in the temperature indicator still be changed, and will the temperature still be able to have blue and red, or do those only come with the color change option? QUOTE(6strngs @ Oct 30, 2007 - 4:40 PM) I want one! The video of the color changing didn't work for me and I don't quite understand what it is. I'm going to try to make sure I have the latest version of quicktime and then I'll try it again. until then I can't give an answer on the color change option 6strngs / blue / ? / N Edit, ok, I got the video to work. But I want to know, if I don't get the color change option then can the color in the temperature indicator still be changed, and will the temperature still be able to have blue and red, or do those only come with the color change option? you can have the little indicator in the knob be whatever color you would like if you don't want it color changing while the actual background light that has the hot/cold temp zone can either be all blue, blue and red in respective areas or partial red (the red will not shine through the blue colored zone) ALSO! i have a completed total red one ready to ship... with or without color changing option This post has been edited by pittfirefighter: Oct 30, 2007 - 5:10 PM -------------------- Breaking Axles...
