Ok, before anyone says anything i WILL BE KEEPING the celi. However i'm probably going away for college and my parents want me to have a newer car so stuff is less likely to go wrong. I'm not sure how much i can spend but i think between 10k, to 13ish.

I've really been thinking about two cars..

2005/2006 Scion TC

Pros;
-i love this car, body style everything
-made by toyota
-from what i understand TONS of aftermarket?

Cons;
they seem to be really popular
maybe a little pricey?

2004/2005/2006 Acura RSX

Pros;
-love the body style
-acura's are good cars
-a good ammount of aftermarket?

Cons;
-probably more exspensive
-harder to find (around me at least)

Anyone have any other cars?

I really love the scion tc. I've liked that car since it came out, but as much research i do on it, can't find out about the aftermarket really?

Dont touch the neon.. I knew 3 people that nothign but problems with low miles too..

You wont find anythign decent for what your looking at for under 10k... maybe an 01 celica gts

The rsx will be a few k more for an older one with more miles.

It depends on whats more important.... year, miles, performance... what every one else has...

The tc uses the new camry engine. Its a 2.4l 160 hp 160 trq, it does have vvt--i and its the same as 07-08, they just have a dif oxygen sensor and somthing else.. which kills the power curve a bit.
