Ok, so i wanted to buy a SRI, but i'm broke and a little confussed.

The 7afe is also a corolla engine, correct? the 1.8 st celica model? if this is so, is it possible to buy mods for the corolla and put them in the celica? for example, a performance SRI. This only came to me after a little searching online and wondering about how i can get more power in this thing. another note, would a turbo kit built for a corolla be able to fit in the celica or would the wireing be off??

How are the cheaper ebay SRI? are they a good buy?

--sry for these nobish question, I just started mob my celica.
next step, 7gen short shifter..........

Yea, that’s awesome, I’m going to get a dragon sticker and some random green flames.....lol

Naw, but, I do want a SRI. The SRI just for the hell of it, since I had my celica for 2 years now and I haven't really done anything to it, except for a new deck.....I just had an extra few bucks and , well what the hell, school sucks so I’m going to at least have fun driving.

On the short shifter note, I just want one because everyone I know says it's awesome. Plus I thought it would cost $140+ to get a short shifter but just found out (on this forum) that I can get one for ~$40. (sooo lucky laugh.gif ) But shifting wise, I wouldn't say I’m the best but when it comes down to racing with my weak ST, it's not a problem(hell I shift faster then everyone I know).

I'm just looking for an outlet for my money and time, to distract from school and exams.
