Ok, so i wanted to buy a SRI, but i'm broke and a little confussed.

The 7afe is also a corolla engine, correct? the 1.8 st celica model? if this is so, is it possible to buy mods for the corolla and put them in the celica? for example, a performance SRI. This only came to me after a little searching online and wondering about how i can get more power in this thing. another note, would a turbo kit built for a corolla be able to fit in the celica or would the wireing be off??

How are the cheaper ebay SRI? are they a good buy?

--sry for these nobish question, I just started mob my celica.
next step, 7gen short shifter..........

Hey for mine, all I gotta say is two SRI's equals one CAI. Haha. I mean it still works!

u just coupled em together? lol, i was thinking of doin that, but im fine with my shorty smile.gif

facade,

you can get one off of ebay for rather cheap. with our cars, the ST, there is lil we can do performance wise. but i say, just make it look nice n fast n keep it maintained. i bought my SRI off of ebay and it makes a good throaty sound, but since i put a loud muffler on my car, i cant even hear it frown.gif im gonna remove the loud ass muffler soon so that i can give my engine at least a lil respect smile.gif

you could probably get one off of ebay..its a lil shorter than i would like it, so im going to buy these intake pieces from pep boys later. they cost around 15 bucks a piece, but you could make your own SRI with em or CAI depending on what you want n how many pieces ya wanna buy.

good luck man!
