I want to throw an 8 cylinder into my celica this summer and supercharge it. Does anybody have any ideas on whats a good v8 engine to look for? And how much would be the average cost for the v8?

I wouldn't say that a v8 will not fit in the engine bay, this 5th gen managed to do so, engine bays are similar in size: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5C0veAb-CiM but i will have to say that it wont be easy. Good luck to you if you decide to do so though.
 Edit: and i just remembered at the recent chino hills meet there was a 1st gen with a tundra motor in it... engine bay may be a little bigger, but goes to show you anything is possible. ( and it was already rwd) This post has been edited by eggman40: Nov 8, 2007 - 3:21 PM |
