I have been wanting to get a larger intercooler for my car since the day I got it but there is the awkward metal bumber thing in the way. I have noticed some people have just cut it for the space with what im assuming was a metal jigsaw or something. Does that bar really do all that much and is it ok to slice it up so i can fit in a larger intercooler?

I def. dont want to run the risk doing that...and I know cutting a peice out will compromise its integrity so i guess i already had my answer. I was told that the GT4 has a small crash bar...is that true? and if so does anyone know where i could get one? thanks
