hey, iam interested in painting my break calipers, just wondering if anybody has a close up shot of the painted caliper without the rims on!!, i just have the fear that i will end up painting sometthing iam not supposed to hee hee, nervous wreck when it comes to doing anything with my car meself..ye see i have nobody to blame if i do it myself and it goes wrong hee hee...any help? cheers paaaaaaaaaalz!

But yeah, just mask off anything you don't want paint to be on and you'll be fine. It's really easy Taking off the caliper is easy. There are two bolts that need to be removed, and the caliper slides off (minus the line connected to it) What I've done in the past on other vehicles is drop the caliper down off the rotor and hang it with some wire off of the strut, then paint. You'll need to mask off a little bit for overspray, but it is a lot easier than getting into the wheel well and spraying while it is still attached to the car. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money
