What`s the deal with muffler&tip?All the pictures I see of this system the unit is polished and is stainless.I have noticed that many posts say that the muffler is black,and that you need to strip the black s#@t off . please someone tell me the truth.

Coomer is correct. The tip of the Greddy SP is polished while the muffler itself has dull grey paint over it. I think this makes the muffler less prone to rust and getting scratched up in harsh weather conditions. While I like the understated looks of a dull muffler with polished tip, if its not your style you can easily strip the grey paint with some paint thinner.
