I just got done testing my mpg thinking it might be crappy since I read the 5s-fe runs rich and plus with the car being 'round 12 years old, but I was joyfully surprised to see I'm running 29+mpg city. (with ac running sometimes and having a heavy foot)
Just something to make me love my car alittle more, since I expected 24-. I'm curiouse though since I want to either add a turbo or swap to a 2nd gen 3sgte as to what my mpg would turn out to be. Who on here with either a 5s-fte or a 3s-gte swap (or the very few who have a 5s-gte) checked your mpg? Just really curious. (even if you don't have one of these set-ups you can still post your mpg ) -------------------- CLOSED on 25 acres! -shop coming soon.... |

QUOTE(94celigts @ Nov 7, 2007 - 7:45 PM) i personally do not believe many of you hat say anything over 33-34. that is a crazy amount. I dont see how it is possible. You must be doing calculations wrong. If im wrong im sorry but it seems unlikely I think mine is approx 27-28MPG eh, you gotta remember that the ones that state the 30+ mpg are driving the st model with the 7a-fe. This motor definitley gets better gas mileage than the 5s so those #'s don't seem far off. -------------------- CLOSED on 25 acres! -shop coming soon.... |

I don't see how you guys are getting such horrible gas mileage. I guess I just have a very light foot? -Matt |
