Occasionally while driving, my transmission whenever going into 3rd gear. I know the tranny was replaced earlier before I bought the car, but what could the grind mean? I'm going to try to put Synchromesh transmission fluid and see if that could fix it, but what else could it be?

To quote myself here about ST trans.
QUOTE(Harold_Fastwaker @ Nov 13, 2007 - 6:14 AM) Well, C-52 transmissions are notorious for having bad 2nd and 3rd gear synchros. The later year models have better synchros in them. This is the problem most people run across. They just keep changing the gear oil to cover it up. -------------------- |
