I had a bit of a search around but couldn't find an answer.
I've currently got a 97 ST which I'm aiming to get a back end looking like this (With supra spoiler): with regards to the Skyline-a-like tail lights. I have two questions 1) I need to get a square, two line reg plate pannel like in the image above, to replace my current, long thin one like in the photo below (Both photos not my car). I've found a breakers yard who will ship me one, but will it fit? It would be nice to know this before I part with cash. 2) I wanted to fill in the ugly seam that the quad convertrs have, but I'm concerned that I'd not be able to change the bulbs, does anyone with these lights know if you can access the bulbs by taking the individual lenses off? Or does the whole unit need to come out? In addition the the back end, I'm looking to get a gt4 bonnet (hood) and bumper from a breakers yard, I know these fit nicely onto the GT (ST202), but how is the fitmet with the ST (AT200). I know I'll have to extend the bonnet latch. This post has been edited by SteveHall: Nov 12, 2007 - 8:15 AM |

Just a little update for the record, I contacted the people who make the quad-conversions and they said that:
"The whole light unit (round unit) would come out, leaving a wire trailing back into the car. Then you could twist the bulb holder off the back of the unit." Which means I can fill away and still change bulbs. I'll be buying soon as my next pay comes through. Update: Found a UK specialist stripper of Celica ST205s, he has 5 of them! I've been quoted £525 for Front bumber with fogs and indicators, Front bonnet and rear reg plate pannel. This post has been edited by SteveHall: Nov 15, 2007 - 6:44 AM |
