So today I had a good friend of mine recommend this asian guy who speicalizes in japanese engines and trannys. I went there with my 94 Celica GT so he can take a look at it and I asked him for a 4th gen 3SGTE swap. He started the work estimate and then asked me if I wanted to convert it to 4WD well I said what the hell why not. So with EVERYTHING included complete motor(4th gen 3SGTE), ecu, harness, transmission, rear 4WD conversion, labor, additional parts, and performace tuning (300HP), the whole thing came out to $6,864.50. My question is........is it worth it?

all i know is...you're probably looking at a good 2-3k or more for a real pro looking paint job...and worse thing is, every auto painter will result differently and charge you differently...some are just poor painters that charges you a lot for crappy work because they didn't spend their time on it rightly, and there are those that charge you cheapy but does a really swell job because it's what they do best to get the customer coming back (if you're lucky you find these people), and those that charge a lot for their pro work (if they do a pro work on your car)...it varies...some have it well, others don't when it comes down to painting your car...so i really can't say... i have had my troubles there too trying to find a good decent painter...lol sorry man, btw, left hand drive, right hand? no real differ...you'll get use to it...
