5sfe is the engine code for the celica GT

5sfTe having the T in there means turbo gt motor.

People use the T because thats what it stands for in Toyota engine codes such as the 3sgTe.

--------------------
98 Celica gt red- totaled deer
94 Celica st black DD (bad weather beater)- totaled deer
95 Celica gt silver- chassis sold
88 Celica All-Trac (Burned to a crisp)
94 Celica gt white (sold)

In need of a rust free chassis!!!!

You are partially correct.

The term "GT" isn't globally accurate. Because what you may call a GT with a 5sfe, others may call a GT with a 3sge. So saying ST204 would be more accurate.

But a 5sfte is simply just a turbocharged 5sfe. Want to get a little crazy and you could go 5sgze which would be supercharged mhm. I'm going to be different and make a 5sc. Yeah what you know about that!?
