i have a stock 97 st 1.8 and i want a 3s-gte engine how much do they cost and what else do i have to do to make it fit in my car basically how much would the whole project cost

since you have an ST you'll need the GT motor mounts. You'll want to buy a front clip, unless you can find a complete motor with the parts that usually come in the a clip. You'll have to get your wiring harness done to work with the 3sgte. You'll also need a tranny because your ST tranny won't work. If you've read the stickies cost vary from 3000 to 4000 depending on resources and whos doing the swap.

my car is a front wheel drive manual car would i have to get a front wheel drive transmission ?or can i just use a awd manual transmission
