Ok i have my 7afe which i am in the process of turning into a 7afte, but uh . . . . i cant get the mfing axles to break free of the gear box so i can pull the engine. there has got to be some trick to this . . . . ive broken 2 pry bars so far trying to pop them out. someone please tell me how these things come out.

yeah it took me 6 hours laugh.gif laugh.gif to figure it out

the drivers axle will require some technique to it. with a prybar, push upwards and then with a mallet give a steady blow, there is a pin holding it siside the transmission. the passenger side needs 6 bolts removed.



make sure you have plenty of space... and jack the car securely before you get underneath...

stick it and wam!!!!!!!! tongue.gif
