i got bored tonight..so i decided to do some work Options

Last weekend i had to throw my winters on just because i wasnt gonna b back to Toronto b4 the snow hits *later tonight*. So i threw my original 15s on, and noticed they are starting to pit. So i decided i was gonna paint em. So i spent maybe..20 min tonight cleanin them, then i masked off the tires and did some quick painting.



ive only got the 1 done right now cuz i started to feel sick

but while i was at it, i did sarahs hub caps because shes back on her stock 14s for the winter



But b4 i decided to do my wheels, i started on my newest project. Some custom tails for sarah's coupe. We have an extra set of OEM tails laying around the garage we pickedup from a scrap yard. So for x-mas, i decided i was gonna get her some currens, but then i relized..i dont have any $..lol So instead, i spent $30 and decided to try and make some clear tails fallen hero style.
This is what ive done so far

thats with the clear plastic over top of it right now

Im still debating on if i wanna throw the clear lens back on, or if i wanna do the whole office lighting material way

or, im also thinking of kinda doing a glazed window kinda look and make it more like a BMW style tail light.

either way, i also picked up a set of red LED bulbs to put behind the plastic.

Is that the clear plastic or did you use the office stuff? I can't tell. Looks good but I think you should cut off the extra glue and buff the clear plastic 'cause it looks faded and scratched up against the red.

its the clear plastic that i sanded with a rotary tool with a sanding bit and some emry cloth. It was more like a fogged look than a clear look. Its my first tail light though. Im planning on making another one with some of the office lighting material. My GF kinda likes the fogged style, but we have another tail, so im gonna make 1 of both styles and see what she likes better.
