I want to move out but can't afford it unless I have a job w/ benefits. I am also hoping to be taking 15 hours this coming semester. What do you guys suggest I do or look into? My girl thinks banking is a good idea; she started as a teller and is now full time customer service.

QUOTE(mneal2_92788 @ Dec 5, 2007 - 10:32 AM) i work at starbucks, 7/hr but you get stock benifits, heath insurance after 90 days, tips, 401k. etc. That's the way to go when you're starting out, find the busiest SBUX you can so you'll get fat tips on top of it, you'll work your ass off but it's great experience as a first job in "adult" life, and you get excellent benefits and if you really like the job, you can move up quickly. It can actually be kind of a fun job, too, I did it for a short time. -------------------- |
