for those of you who have headers on your GT's and ST's how many times did you wrap the header wrap in one spot? once or twice? would there be any difference wrapping it around the same area twice? thoughts and opinions will be appreciated.

heatwrap is bad, especially on those cheap ebay headers.
it will hold in condensation, and make them rot MUCH faster. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

QUOTE(presure2 @ Dec 5, 2007 - 4:49 PM) heatwrap is bad, especially on those cheap ebay headers. it will hold in condensation, and make them rot MUCH faster. i accidently peeled some of my wrap back during an oil change, the stainless under it looks just fine. i've had my wrapped for just over a year of chicago weather, which is not easy on cars. i think as long as its REAL stainless the wrap is OK. -------------------- |
