 Operating Temperature, Car won't reach it |

Trying to diagnose my problem and I can't seem to figure it out. My car won't reach its operating temperature unless I got it opened up on the highway. As soon as I slow down the temperature drops. Any suggestions?

does your heater provide good heat? if not, there's the possibility of having air in the cooling system, it takes a bit of time to warm up completely if you're trying to bleed it in these cold temperatures.. otherwise maybe it's just a bad thermistor water sensor...
