I'm not comparing cars straight out (as in specs) I'm comparing 2 sweet rides one of which we have devoted this forum to, obviously stating that we have chosen this car (Celica) over the rest of them regardless of anything else. I can afford to buy a corvette or a mustang gt or a 350z a STI or an evo (on credit anyway) but for whatever reasons, I chose to get a 1999 Celica GT and do an engine swap. Yes it will be slower than some of the cars I mentioned before but thats what I want because I love it. The only problem is the GTR is making me think twice, not just because its f-ing fast and would take out a GT-4, to me it just has that attraction.
By the way this thread isn't off topic IMO. its not about the GTR its about a willingness to let go of a beloved Celica ![]() |
