 Operating Temperature, Car won't reach it |

Trying to diagnose my problem and I can't seem to figure it out. My car won't reach its operating temperature unless I got it opened up on the highway. As soon as I slow down the temperature drops. Any suggestions?

Radiator flush and new coolant, there just may be a clog. If that doesn't work, I'd try the air temp sensor, it's about 20 bucks and an inexpensive process of elimination. Also make sure you didn't get a faulty thermostat, they're cheap little buggers and it's possible you inadvertently got the wrong one or a faulty one.
