i just put my 97 gt away for the winter. shes sitting in about 80 degrees!!! just thought i'd rub it in to all of you whos cars are in the cold... but realy i do miss it and its been gone only 3 days!!! can't wait till spring to put the new struts, mounts, rotors, pads, and clutch:)

no rust at all for me.. yet. *knock on wood* i've been driving for years now in harsh weather conditions.. plus my car is 'almost' rust proof and totally prepared for winter. what i would hate most is to have to deal with a crappy beater car that's boring to drive and has crappy heat and traction and suffer through the cold for half the year..
just wash your car regularly and keep the salt and dirt off your wheel wells and sides, even if it means to have a frozen door the next morning. i have a wired car heater inside which i point towards the door so in the morning before i leave, i'll just plug it in and door defrosts in a matter of minutes -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
