I want a nice GPS for about 300. Thinking about a garmen nuvi 260, but there's many more units on the market for that price. Any recommendations?

Just paranoia... The technology could develop though. Picture this* Cops don't even stakeout at speed traps anymore, they are for the mostpart a donut eating wireless printers! Like big brother's watching from afar giving turn by turn directors and rating you out for speeding.


Back on topic now* what features do people like about the garmen software? What sets these units apart if anything at all?

I'm looking mostly for a big screen to see the maps; cause I don't see myself turning down the volume to hear I robotic voice give directions.
