So it was my last year of christmas break, im driving back from clatskanie, or -> yakima, wa. its about a 3 1/2 hour drive. so im at white pass, wa (great snow boarding, skiing resort) and at the very top the first time the whole trip i get on it alittle bit and get some boost going. i hear an eerie clunk after i get off the gas. this cannot be good :-/ im thinking to myself. i have a 2 1/2 month old kitten with me and all my junk (clothes, random stuff, and christmas gifts) its about 17 degrees on the top of white pass, not good. so i decide to get as far as i can before it all goes wrong, at the same time im txting my father to call AAA to come tow the car home, and also call my roommate to come pick me up. im not more than 30 minutes from home (yakima, wa).

The car was perfectly tuned, i was running 93 octane (supreme), and ive been really gentle with it. the motor blew, what i take of it is the rod snapped in half and shoved my piston into the head alittle bid screwing up the head, along with damaging the crankshaft. the death of a turbo'd celi.

im parting the car out, as far as aftermarket parts goes - everything only has 1k miles on it (est.) not too much.

Im gonna keep the car as a whole and have it towed to my parents house for me to come pick up later in life after school, i definately have plans of one day having a boosted 1mzfe or something of the likes in it.

for right now, i've gotten a 2007 Cobalt LT. its currently in oregon getting it registered, so i dont have ne pictures at the moment...
