Well I was at a local custom car shop/dealership with some friends and noticed some stock 7th gen gt-s wheels that had been painted black. asked about them, and they said they'd sell them for $150 for all four wheels. They need a little TLC and new tires, but hey for 150, I figured it wasn't a bad deal. Heres a pic:(sorry for poor quality, I had to take it with my cell phone
![]() ![]() They have a little curb rash and need repainting, but the black should look good. One question though, can someone give me some info on how to refurbish these wheels..? I know I need to prep them, and sand them down, then I can paint. But what grit sand paper do I need? Also will tires be more expensive than the ones on my stock 6th gens? -------------------- |

Thanks, so I guess the price is pretty much the same (just got some new all seasons on the stock 6th gens which now = my winter wheels
![]() Do you still have a good amount of tread with those tires? cause I don't want to get ones that are too low profile, you know? thanks for the paiinting advice, I know it's not complicated stuff, but hey want to do it right ![]() btw:your cars looking nice there, I'm probably also going to need a drop one of these days even with a little bigger wheels. -------------------- |
