Just wondering what has to be done and the price for this conversion. I've read the sticky on jdm gt-four hood and bumper but do you have to actually buy all the accessories as well? If so is there a cheaper alternative. Im looking to spend like $1200 for this.

I'm looking to do my GT4 styling conversion soon. I've been looking into the front crashbar issue which I didn't reaslise until after buying the bumper. There seems to be three approaches:
1) Cut the standard ST / GT square crash bar. To me this has Bad idea written all over it so this is out.
2) As per Azian advanced, use a GT4 crash bar and cut the ends to mount to the ST / GT bracket. Seems better but I'm still not convinced about this one
3) I haven't seen a write up on this one, but just heard mention. Get a GT4 crash bar and the right (GT4?) frame brackets:
Frame Bracket RH 57201-20060
Frame Bracket LH 57202-20070
This is the option that I'm interested in doing, but can't find enough information.
Could someone clarify that if I get at GT4 crash bar and the two frame brackets everything will just bolt together and fit propperly on my ST. i.e. Will the GT4 frame brackets fit onto the ST frame bracket mounts. (Accepting that I will have to extend safety latch and support raised rubber seal)

Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer this.

yes, that is the correct way to do it.
it will fit like it came from the factory that way.
