Hey all I am a proud new owner of a Celica. Firstly I want to say what an awesome site and forum. After driving a rwd for 6 years and drove this car and loved it straight away. I never knew a fwd could handle aswell as the SS-II does.

The only thing I find annoying is the beeping that happens when the key is in the ignition and the drivers door is open. Does anyone on here know how to remove this irritation?

Thank you in advance and also looking forward to learning lots for some of you experienced people out there.

Gareth from New Zealand

there is a small plug on the back of the ignition cylinder (where you put you key in), unplug it and no noise.
