 squealing around transmission, warmer car = louder squeal |

when the engine is cold it doesn't squeal but as it warms up the noise gets louder.
our mechanic said it may be that my transmission has dirt in it but he also mentioned through out bearings... any ideas on what it is? -------------------- tell me everything

we also found some red oily stuff under the car.
i know thats bad, just wondering what i should do about it. my dad doesn't trust transmission mechanics not exactly sure why. anything i could do?? JO -------------------- tell me everything
