I'm sure a good number of u guys have done your own swaps, but curiosity keeps me thinking... did u guys have any previous knowledge or experience in doing the swap? im assuming you guys already knew about how a car runs an what not, just generally what did you know about teh swap, specially 3sgte swap...

yes, one is heftier... blacktop is like a heavy duty version... but unless you are hammering the gas to the floor, you wont need it... Silvertop is the newer version and you have a better chance of getting one and rebuilding it (if you decide to) also, it has a different compression rating if I remember, Silvertop also has DOHC and its 20v... blacktop isnt... (I could be wrong)
