I've got a lot of oil in my intercooler piping and I don't want it there! what are the causes of that and what can I do to reduce it?

it's a lot. like, I had a coupler blow off, and I drove about a mile to get home before popping the hood. and you could see splatters of oil on the downpipe and radiator, basically anything within range of where the piece of IC piping coming off my turbo, which is the one the coupler blew off of, was pointing.
but anyway, I finally installed an oil restrictor yesterday. I've had it for a while, and tried to install it a few times, but my friend installed the fitting that was there so tight that it was next to impossible to remove. the corners of the nut were rounding off because the wrench would slip. but we were finally able to get it out without destroying it yesterday. so hopefully that'll clear some of it up. -------------------- ![]() 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |
