Okay so last night on my way to work I ran over a oppossum doing 55-60mph. Needless to say, the oppossum did not live, but that's besides the point. When I got to work I checked the front of my Celi and the brush guard under the front bumper is bent down and the parts where it clips into the bumper are broken. Also, 3 of the 5 or so "bar looking things" that go where the grill goes ( I didn't have a grill) are broken. I guess it would be called a 5-Post bumper? Don't know if it's only the 94-95 or not. So I was wondering if I need to get a whole bumper now, or if a front lip will solve the problem?

a lip will only cover the lower part of the bumper... not the posts in the grill. you also don't really need the front 'bush guard' (or black plastic guard behind the bumper), i'm pretty sure it's there to direct air from the grill of the bumper to the rad.
you can either: -cheap out and cut the posts in the bumper grill and get a lip to cover the damage -or buy a new bumper i'd go with option 2 just so you have a better reason to upgrade to a different bumper altogether, or if you want to upgrade to a 96+ bumper. -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
