so i'm leaving school today, and i started the car. i gave it a little womp womp (gas) for some girls that were near, and i heard a really loud screech under the hood. now i'm totally emberrased kindasad.gif but anyways, i waited a few minutes, the screech got quieter and went away, so i was hoping it was good for now to drive to work untill i can get it home and look at it. so i'm driving to work, everything fine, then it feels like it wants to stall on me. it did this all the way whenever i was at steady speed but was fine when i let off of gas or gave it more. also, the boost seemed to be a little more laggy than usual.
so, the next day, i performed all the basic checks and found the oil was low and a belt was loose. put in some more oil, tightened belt, CHECK. it seemed to be a little bit smoother, no stalling this time around but the engine seemed to be rocking worse than usual.
i'm guessing its the motor mounts. i was checking out those polyurethane mounts from kirk and am hoping to pick up a set of those biggrin.gif . however my friend was suggesting that it might be my turbo settings. i have a greddy profec B spec II .

i guess my questions about this whole deal is
1) has anybody else had this problem? and what did u do to fix it?
2)are those mounts a good deal or do i have to get something else to go along with it?
3) what is a good LOW setting for my gain, set gain, etc....?

thank you for taking your time to read this, and please don't point me towards the search button. I've become very familiar with it already. please ask questions if i hadn't explain any detail clearly enough and i am open to all constructive criticism! biggrin.gif

I was going to go with your belts + AC belt(which you should never have on when you 1st start the car) for the noise. how did your belts get loose??

but the rocking I don't know...
