Inspired by Randy's recent purchase and my obsessive searching for the perfect TV, I am curious with what other people are thinking about treating themselves with.
I have basically narrowed down weeks of research into HDTV with a choice of the Samsung 40'' LCD 1080p HDTV with the addition of the Oppo DV-981HD 1080p upscaling DVD player. I don't feel comfortable purchasing an HD-DVD or Blu-Ray player just yet as who knows when this war will end so this upscaler is the best on the market and should hold me over. Shame I won't have it before tomorrow afternoon but it's exciting!

2slow2nervous is selling me his celi and im gunna get it befor he parts it out like he said he was gunna do if I don't end up buyin it.
 , gotta get it before he butchers it all up, and while its still running perfect(from what he says).
