Ok so this has kept me up nights...
So in the first Terminator movie, Kyle Reese comes back from the future, sent by John Connor to protect his mother's life. So Reese sleeps with Sarah Connor and she has a child, John Connor. So how does someone exist prior to sending his father back in time to knock up his mother? -------------------- |

Time travel creates all kinds of paradoxes, which is why it is impossible.
Actually, it would be possible for a person to travel forward in time by slowing down: aging, using some sort of suspended animation or time itself (at least for the individual), by traveling at extremely fast speeds (according to Einstein's theories on relativity) As far as traveling back in time, it just can't be done according to our current understanding of the laws of physics (although it would be cool to stop Hitler and get in early on some Microsoft stocks) ![]() This post has been edited by celicamike: Feb 13, 2008 - 7:43 PM |
