Hi i just join the forum last night and i been doing research on the forums and the internet on motor swaps for the 6g Celica new to the Toyota scene i have a 94 st with about 220xxx picked it up about 3 months ago at 215xxx miles i would like to do a motor swap into this car but i would like to have more power than the 1.8L and i was thinking about the 2.2L but I'm not sure how hard it would be to do the swap and how much it would cost but also i would like to know which is the best motor for my car or what is the best way to deal with this
Thank You For Your Time

check the stickies man^

there you will find completed motor swaps and other ideas to help.
personally swapping a 2.2 would be a waste. if you want alot more power, take the 3s-gte route. but a decently performing engine is the 4age which swaps right in for the most part, since you have an ST.
