7th gen brake system !, pics are up ! Options

I ordered a pair of 7th gen front calipers and today finally took the time to test fit one of them, the brake line is exactly the same, the brake bolts into the same exact location, but the bolts on the GTS are longer so we have to use the bolts from the ST, obviously we need the rotors and pads from the 7th gen ( just in case someone dare to ask ) .

I know that there have been a lot of discussions about this, and they all said that they fit but no one tried it, so just in case someone else is wondering if they fit, YES they do,

I'll take pictures when I get everything ( rotors, brake lines, pads ) to show the fitment.

I ordered EBC slotted rotors, green stuff brake pads, SS brake lines and motul brake fluid. looking at one or two week to install everything.


if you want any specific pictures, let me know so I'll take them during installation.

pics stevenson. I want to see how much bigger they look compared to our stocks.

I know the pads and rotors are different but you replaced both the caliper and the torque plate right (caliper holder) ? Or just the caliper ?

the torque plate has to be replace as well in order to fit the bigger rotors, but I had to use the bolts from the ST ( from torque plate to hub ) as the bolts that came with the GTS set were too long and were going to hit the back of the rotors.

I'll take pictures tomorrow, it was cold and I'm still a little bit sick so I didn't wanna stay out for picture taking but I'll do it tomorrow for sure.

The difference is size with the stock ST is ~ 1-1.5 inches, I don't know if this would be consider an upgrade for teh GT guys ( or if they fit ) but for the ST is definitely worthy, I had new brake pads installed last summer and the brake felt nice, but the difference with this set-up is night / day. I know is not fair to compare since I also have SS brake lines, and fresh fluid, but I don't even have to press the pedal much to get the car to stop.
