My celica just died last week and no spark. I was wondering has anyone rebuilt their distributor before. I have a 5sfe.
Just recent change the rotor and cap to distubutor last week before this happen. All sudden the car died, so i check for any spark coming from wire. None, I think it was the distubutor but i haven;t had time to replace it. This post has been edited by st202gt: Feb 22, 2008 - 1:41 PM |

You shouldn't need to rebuild the dist to get spark.
The coil is inside the dist on yours, correct? If it is the coil, it should be removable, though I don't know if you can buy just the coil for that version. --------------------  |
