I have recently sold my 6g celica and purchased a st215 gtt caldina. Couldnt find any forums that deal with the caldina so thought i would post here as the 3sgte is very similar to the on in the st205.
The factory blow off valve is leaking, the cover pops off all the time. I can clip the cover back into place and it works ok but then it pops off and just starts leaking again, very frustrating. Do i just need to replace the unit or is it a common problem thats easy to fix. Cheers. |

I have a caldina motor as well and MOST parts are very similar to the 205. if i can see a pic to be sure its the hard plastic BOV i think it is would be great, but when i first got my swap done i noticed air constantly leaking from the blow off valve found out the spring was not strong enough so i just bought a new one I would suggest buying the HKS ssqv it workes along with the boost pressure (there is a diagram in a thread a few below this one) This post has been edited by easternpiro1: Feb 24, 2008 - 3:51 PM -------------------- |
