How do I correctly aim my headlights?

i can be bad for bumping old threads
you can use a wall to aim your headlights, aimers can cost a pretty penny (good ones) and well when you have them they never work right.... the bodyshop i used to work at does that....easy and works...you just need something to go by, so get someone you know with a new car see where their headlights are aimed and use that for yourself...
