I read a member talkin about using a "armour coat" or something like that this way the paint wno't chip when you're going higher speeds for example doing 70 on the freeway. Did you guys do anything like that to?

QUOTE(_mikeE @ Feb 27, 2008 - 5:22 PM) I read a member talkin about using a "armour coat" or something like that this way the paint wno't chip when you're going higher speeds for example doing 70 on the freeway. Did you guys do anything like that to? i havent heard of what your talking about. if your talking about "chipgaurd" along the bottoms of the car, then no, there was none, other than the factory undercoating, and he did not request us to chipgaurd the bottoms of the rockers, like you see on a lot of stock cars, so we didnt do it. for those wondering what "chipgaurd" is, you can find more info on it here: http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...read&st=100 and yes, it does work. very well actually. i still have no chips in my wheelwells, or on the lower section of the skirts and extensions. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
